*The Pact is a full-length, standalone "friends to lovers" contemporary adult romance*

It all started with a pinky swear…

Linden McGregor is tall, rugged, and gunslinger handsome; a helicopter pilot with a Scottish brogue and charm to spare. He’s also one of Stephanie Robson’s best friends and has fit into that box for as long as she’s known him.

Beautiful, funny and an ambitious businesswoman (with one hell of an ass), Stephanie Robson is one of Linden McGregor’s best friends and has fit into that box for as long as he’s known her.

But some relationships can’t be boxed, can’t be classified, can’t be tamed.

Back in their mid-twenties and tired of the competitive hit-or-miss dating scene of San Francisco, Steph and Linden made a pact to marry each other if neither one of them were in a serious relationship by the time they hit thirty.

It sounded like fun and games at the time but as the years to thirty tick past and lovers come and go out of their lives, the pact becomes larger than life.

Sex is inevitable. Friendships are tested. Hearts are on the line.

The pact is about to change everything.

Note: due to the dirty talk and sexy times, The Pact is not meant for anyone under the age of 18.

This is a great book! Just enough romance, suspense, and humor. Great read for a true romantic.

Too much filler with all of the cuss words and sex. It's over the top with the "f" bomb. Good story line but it ruined the story for me.

  • Emotions will run high in this arduous journey to find love and keep it.

The pact is about two people who do not know how to turn friendship into more. Instead Linden makes a pact that when they turn thirty if neither is in a serious relationship they will get married. Basically, it's permission to sew their wild oats, get all the other people out of their system and still now the other is waiting for them. Karina your evil. The interference of James is trouble. For me life got in the way and the story got sidetracked and I lost my focus. Bring me back Karina. I'm not feeling entertained enough by this arduous journey to reach thirty. I'm anxious, yet on the fence. I guess the appeal is lost when they have not had a physical connection. This is a hang up for me. Maybe if I believed in the sexual chemistry I could believe the emotions being written. For me it was not angst worthy. I felt the tension was drawn out too long and at this point I do not even care anymore what happens between them. Since Linden is Scottish I would have liked more Scottish dialogue from him. Most of the time I forget he is Scottish. The first half of the book they denied each other of their true feelings and then it switches to porn in the second half. It went from one extreme to the other. When I finished this book I was not happy, but relieved. Relieved this arduous journey is over. It weighed heavily on my emotions. It was a battle to read. Loved the premise but once again I fought with the doubt and the denial aspect.
