This is the diary of Burn Rivers.

Bernadette Rivers has had enough. Always the fat friend and fat twin, she's ready to be more.
This summer she's going to lose the weight that's been holding her back.
As determined as she is, Burn knows she can't do it alone.
Enter Warren Grey; ex-high school hottie and stereotypical jock. He is everything that tormented her about high school but she knows he's exactly what she needs.
With a distant mother, a sister with poor taste, a polar opposite best friend and enough insecurities to fill the Grand Canyon, can she learn to love the skin she's in?

And then, of course, there's Fred.

That took me for a emotional roller coaster! Burn was so relatable and real! I especially love how the author wrote about these serious issues any girl can experience.

I have read this book twice and both times I felt the same. I am a hopeless romantic so, of course I love the book. I feel like in some way I'm Burn and my Warren is out there. If you ever felt some way about your weight I think you should read this book.

This book was amazing it had me hooked from page 6 all the way to page 414. And I could really relate to it because I went through a weight loss journey myself, and still am currently going through it now. I don't think mine will end exactly the way Burn's did but I definitely enjoyed hers and would recommend this to other women or men going through the same thing. But I didn't give it the full five stars cause of all the spelling errors... but I mean that's probably why it was free. Anyway this was overall the best and only read of my summer and I can't wait to read the second one.
